The UK’s hottest DJ’s decamp to Europe’s capital of culture

We are pleased to announce Cream’s first home gig of the year. Saturday 22nd March is the date which will see some of the UK’s hottest DJ’s decamp to Europe’s capital of culture city, Liverpool. This Bank Holiday Event will warm up for this years Creamfields festival which celebrates its 10th Anniversary this Summer and will be a legendary Cream Easter smash up with a stellar line up guaranteed to keep us all dancing well into sunrise!

Heading up the shindig is flying Dutchman Ferry Corsten, ranked #8 in the Top 100 DJ Mag poll, this DJ has many guises, producer, pioneer, instigator, the list is endless either way hes the reason for the great dutch trance breakout a decade ago and remains at the top of his field. Joining him in the Courtyard is Cream favourite and Radio 1’s Eddie Halliwell who will be displaying some of his trademark deck wizadry, expect to see some ‘scratch’ sparks coming from the ones & twos.

Following the success of Boxing Night and having successfully conquered the mighty Courtyard, for the first time ever electro upstarts and fast rising stars the Swedish house mafia take to the helm of the Main Room. This unstoppable trio consisting of Steve Angello, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso can shake the foundations of any dancefloor with their funky house sets and have firmly established themselves as favourites of the Cream massive. They will be ably assisted by residents Lee Ellis & Anthony Probyn

Marco V returns to perform in the Courtyard, ranked #20 in the DJ mag top 100 DJ’s in the world, his sound is described as tech trance, hes built up a strong following at Cream over the years and look forward to welcoming him back. Making his debut will be Dave Spoon, this producer du jeur has recently remixed the likes of Lisa Maffia, Dizee Rascal & MIA, joining him will be Jon O’Callaghan, a DJ that is at the forefront of a new generation of artistes pushing the ‘trance’ genre into new dimensions, Superstar DJ Paul van Dyk has even described him as “one of the most exciting producers in the world today” high praise indeed. He will be joined by Cream Resident and all round party starter Gareth Wyn.

Hosting only three gem ridden events at their spiritual home of Nation this year (whilst conquering the world with Creamfields) is proof that they remain the titans of quality line ups. It kicks off an exciting year for Cream which will see the team celebrate 10 years of Creamfields and stage over a dozen festivals across the globe and return to the white isle for their award winning summer residency at Amnesia.
