David K's music is a mixture of romantic melodies on drugs, rocking beats Ôø‡Ôø‡ la Parisienne, and some unreasonable sounds to turn you on; Freak n'Chic.
David K released his first EP for Freak n'Chic in 2003, with "Bouncy Lady" (the label's second release), which followed with a teaming of David and Dan Ghenacia under the moniker 'U&I', releasing two EPs in 2004.. In summer 2005, David released "Free Kit", an Fn'C limited edition and key underground track.. In 2005 - pairing again with Ghenacia - U&I released their third EP "Traffic Jam/Poisson Bocal", a big player on the underground in Ibiza.
David K has also released on respected labels Cocoon, Sismic recordings, Strobe Music and Robsoul recordings and has remixed for labels including Cocoon, Brique Rouge and more recently Tsuba Recordings.
"Boul De Nerf" begins with an atmospheric setting and turns into a tilted and slightly strange peak-dancefloor track.. "Boul De Neige" is a deep acid number laid over a building atmospheric back-drop.. "Boul De Gum" is heavy on the beats with a Chicago style groove and off-kilter bleeps and bops.. It's all a bit wonky.
This EP is already supported by John Digweed (found on his new "Transitions" compilation), D'Julz, Tiefschwarz, Funk D'Void, Kiki, Luciano, Mathew Johnson, James Holden, Sebo K and many more.
Also, David K has two exclusive releases on the forthcoming Freak n'Chic "Rendez-Vous" compilation (released April) - "Acid Morning" - a smooth Jazz infused number and, as U&I (with Ghenacia), "Tika Massala" - a sexy slow-building deep electronic release..
