Deep groovy house that will remain ingrained in your mind for weeks to come.

Downstairs London’s big thing Mr Ed Davenport! As popular with clubbers as Shoreditch is for London’s part-goers. Within just a couple of years this man has hit the underground scene at super-speeds having managed to release a whole plethora of 12’s on some of the most respected techno and house labels around, both nationally (Leftroom) and internationally (Liebe*Detail) for whom he is responsible of crafting one of the biggest tracks of 2007 “Eyespeak”. Such is his ability to glide smoothly through deep surging house, tense, stripped-back techno and warm, emotive melodies that Ed is fast becoming the name to watch out for in 2008 both on the decks and in his production front. Let’s just hope Ed doesn’t get snatched by an uber-cool German town before we can enjoy the pride of a local super talent?

Upstairs Alison Marks (Dessous, Dogmatik), a key figure on the UK female artist front (The first female DJ to win the much coveted DJ Mag Bedroom Bedlam award). Having travelled all over the world and hosting monthly residencies both at home and abroad playing and showcasing her unique blend of mellow groovy techno, she is a force to be reckoned with and continues to go from strength to strength with releases on labels such as Steve Bug’s Dessous, Punk’d ID and the promising Dogmatik, Praised by the likes of John Tejada and Alex Smoke. She was one of the first guest DJs to play the now internationally famed Secretsundaze parties. To say were ecstatic about her one off showcase this Saturday is an understatement.

Our drop dead gorgeous sexy resident and promoter DJ Maura will be jetting in freshly tanned and sexy as ever from her recent Thailand beach party and Spanish Maestro Jordi Mas (soundereground) will be providing the entropy sound track of deep groovy house that will remain ingrained in your mind for weeks to come.

Entropy resides at ditch bar & club on the 1st Saturday of the month at 145 Shoreditch High St.

Entrance is Free before 10pm, £5 before midnight and £7 thereafter with flyer or on guestlist, £10 without!
